Rudgar tells you about horse racing and asks you to get familiar with it in the First Ride quest.

Objective

Visit the racecourse and place a bet on a horse.

Step-by-Step

  1. Talk to Rudgar to start the quest.
  2. Go to the racecourse in the southern area of the map.
  3. Pick a horse and enter a bet amount.
  4. Watch the race. If your horse wins, you receive prize money.

Tips

  • You have roughly a one-in-four chance to win, so bet small amounts until you understand how the races work.
  • Do not bet all of your savings on a single race.
  • Racing can be a fun way to earn extra money once you have stable farm income.
