Upgraded tools let you chop trees, break rocks, and harvest crops faster. The first major tool upgrade is given by Rudgar once you meet the requirements.
How to Start the Tool Upgrade Quest
Rudgar will send you a message outside your home about upgrading your tools. Bring him the materials he asks for.
Required Materials
- 45 hardwood
- 40 silver ore
- 250 fiber
Where to Find the Materials
Hardwood and Silver Ore
Both can be found in the mine.
- Go to the area west of the lumberjack.
- Cross the bridge.
- Head north to reach the mine entrance.
- Mine ore nodes and break rocks inside.
Fiber
Fiber drops from grass, weeds, and small plants around your farm and the town. Use your scythe to cut large patches quickly.
