Pawsome Resort Fishing Guide: Locations, Tips & Quest Fish

Fishing in Pawsome Resort is a relaxing side activity that also feeds into several quests and can be a decent source of income.

How Fishing Works

1. Equip your fishing rod.
2. Stand facing a body of water.
3. Cast your line.
4. When a fish bites, a timing minigame appears.
5. Press the reel button when the moving ring is inside the marked area.
6. Repeat the timing until the fish is caught.

The minigame is forgiving once you learn the rhythm.

Fishing Locations

Shop Pond

The fishing spot to the left of the shop is used for the Special Catch quest. Lioren asks you to catch an Emerald Bass and a Golden Koi there.

Stone Bridge

Ruby tails can be found in the waters below the stone bridge near paw prints.

Beach and Coastal Areas

Azure salmon can be caught near the shop, the stone bridge, and the beach.

General Fishing Points

Golden perch can be found across several fishing points around Pebble Town.

Fishing Tips

• Face the water directly before casting. If you are angled wrong, the line may not land in the water.
• Watch the ring carefully. Pressing too early or too late will cause the fish to escape.
• Bring extra bait if you are farming a specific fish for a quest.

Selling Fish

Fish can be sold at the shop for extra income. Check the shop menu for current prices before selling a large stack.
